Voluntary support · No subscription · No paywall

ComplianceTrack is free.
If it helps, you can support it.

The product is free forever for 1–3 properties. No trial expiry, no credit card, no subscription to cancel. Running costs (D1, R2, email, Turnstile) are low; if enough landlords find it useful enough to leave a tip, the project sustains itself. If not, the project still exists for the people who use it.

Leave a one-time tip

A one-time payment via Stripe. No account needed, no card stored. Pick whichever amount feels right — or zero, the product is free either way.

Or any amount you choose via the custom tip page. All payments are processed by Stripe (UK card fee: 2.9% + 25p).

Become an annual sponsor

For letting agents, accountants, or landlords with 4+ properties who'd like to cover the project's running costs in one go. One-time annual payment, not a subscription. Includes a small "Sponsored by" badge on your account (optional) and priority support.

Sponsorships are voluntary. The product is the same. We list sponsors on /sponsors (coming soon) unless you'd rather stay anonymous.

Other ways to help

Tell another landlord

The single most valuable thing you can do. UK landlord communities (r/uklandlords, NRLA forum, local Facebook groups, your letting agent) are where this product grows. A 30-second post explaining why you use it is worth more than any tip.

Send feedback

What was confusing? What did you expect to find that wasn't there? What certificate did we forget to track? Email hello@compliancetrack.example.com or use the in-app feedback form. We read every message.

Contribute a guide

If you know a UK landlord compliance topic inside out (HMO licensing in Scotland, EPC exemptions, Section 21 abolished by the Renters' Rights Act, etc.) and want to write a guide for the /guides section, get in touch. We'll credit you and link to your practice if appropriate.

Why this model works

A subscription model optimizes for keeping existing users paying. A freemium-with-tips model optimizes for getting the product into the hands of as many landlords as possible. We're closer to the second goal — and frankly, the UK private landlord community is small enough (about 1.6m people) that word-of-mouth does most of the work.

If a year from now nobody has tipped and nobody has sponsored, the product will still exist. The free tier covers costs. The tip jar and sponsorships are upside, not load-bearing.
