Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

ComplianceTrack ("we", "us") is a service operated by an individual UK-based developer. You can contact us at privacy@compliancetrack.example.com.

2. What we collect

Waitlist signups: email address, IP address (transient), user agent. We use this to email you when the product launches and to prevent abuse.

Once the product launches: the compliance information you enter (certificates, dates, tenancies), uploaded documents (PDFs/images of certificates), and billing information via Stripe (we never see your card number).

3. How we use it

• To provide the service (track your compliance, send reminders).
• To send you transactional emails (reminders, account notifications, billing).
• To prevent abuse (rate limiting, Turnstile bot checks).
• To respond to legal requests if required by law.

4. Where it lives

Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure: D1 (SQLite) for relational data and R2 (object storage) for uploaded documents. Both are hosted in the EU region where available. We do not transfer your data to third parties except as required to provide the service (Cloudflare for hosting, Stripe for payment, your email provider for delivery).

5. Your rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, port, and delete your data. Once the product launches, you can do this from your account settings, or by emailing privacy@compliancetrack.example.com. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use a single first-party session cookie for authentication. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set functional cookies for security (Turnstile, rate limiting).

7. Retention

Waitlist signups: we keep your email until you ask to be removed or 24 months of inactivity, whichever is sooner. Account data: deleted within 30 days of account deletion request, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records for 6 years).

8. Changes to this policy

We will email waitlist subscribers and account holders before any material change takes effect.
